Extranet
The Woodleigh School Extranet is a secure site for parents and pupils. It features a state of the art virtual learning environment which includes online lessons, homeworks, revision notes and facilities for studying at home in the event of adverse weather. The Woodleigh School library is also available online via the extranet. The extranet also provides a parental communication facility and a portal for the Friends of Woodleigh. A parentmail feature allows the school to message all parents who are signed up to the extranet – to advise on short notice events such as sports match cancellations.
The Extranet also features downloadable copies of all school policies and curriculum schemes of work and long term plans. There is also a comprehensive set of directions to all sports matches at away schools. A weather application updates current and future weather at Woodleigh, and statements regarding adverse weather conditions are published each morning in the event of snow.
The Extranet features a comprehensive guide to suggested reading books for pupils, and suggested revision guides for exams. An online bookshop is included to facilitate easy ordering and discount prices.
