Drama
Drama builds confidence and promotes teamwork. All pupils at all ages are regularly involved in drama, either on stage or backstage.
Pupils from Nursery to Year 2 rehearse and perform a Christmas play; pupils in years 3 to 5 rehearse and perform a musical in the Autumn Term, a cabaret in the spring term and year 8 perform a play on founders’ day in the summer term.
Recent performances include: ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ and ‘The Blues Brothers’.
A House Play Festival takes place in the Spring Term. In the recent past, plays have toured York, Hull and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
