Science
Woodleigh School has a well resourced Science laboratory. There is an emphasis on investigation and practical science, including many experiments.
Specialist lecture are organised to enliven particular areas of the syllabus. These have included a lecture inside a mobile planetarium and a talk from a member of the British Antarctic survey. Recently pupils carried out a Geophysics survey of the school site.
In Years Seven and Eight, pupils are taught Physics, Biology and Chemistry in preparation for Common Entrance and Senior School entrance exams.
