Patrick Farnsworth was the managing director of the Hull based William Jackson Food Group . He is currently the High Sheriff of East Yorkshire.
Gordon Gibb – Old Woodleighan
Gordon Gibb is the CEO of highly successful Flamingo Land Ltd theme park located near Pickering and former chairman of Bradford City Football Club. He was educated at Woodleigh and later at St Peter’s in York.
Richard Healey – Old Woodleighan
Richard Healey is the Founder of the Be a Star Foundation which raises money for childrens’ cancer treatment. He is also the founder of Ideal Brands Ltd, which includes US household names Costco and Timberpro.
Mark Herman – Old Woodleighan
Mark Herman from Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, England is an English film director and screenwriter notable for writing & directing the 2008 film The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.
Mark Herman was educated at Woodleigh School, North Yorkshire. He was late entering the film industry. Aged 27 he was drawing cartoons at art college before becoming involved in drama when he began studying film at Leeds Polytechnic, now the Metropolitan University of Leeds. He then trained as an animator at the National Film School in London.
Ralph Ineson - Old Woodleighan
Ralph Ineson is an English actor who has played roles in the Office, Waking the Dead, the film Damned United. He played Amycus Carrow in the final two Harry Potter films. He is also the voice of the “Wickes” advert.
Michael Oughtred – Old Woodleighan
Michael Oughtred has held a number of top industry positions including the Vice-Chairmanship of Hull based food company William Jackson & Son Ltd and President of Yorkshire and Humber Chambers of Commerce. He is also the Chairman of the Theatre Board of Hull Truck Theatre.
Henry Priestman – Old Woodleighan
Henry Priestman from Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England is an English rock singer, keyboardist,record producer and songwriter. During the 1980s and 1990s he was a member of The Christians. All of the songs on the 1980s hit album “The Christians” were written by Henry Priestman, with the exception of Top 40 hits “Ideal World”, ”Hooverville” and ”Sad Songs” which were co written with Mark Herman, another Old Woodleighan. In 2005 he produced Mark Owen‘s (of Take That fame) 2003 Top 5 album, In Your Own Time.

Kate Sweeting is a Broadcast journalist with the BBC presenting the news for BBC Look North Lincs.
Mark Wynn-Edwards - Old Woodleighan
Mark Wynn-Edwards owns and runs MWE designs, a world leading company specialising in the creation of lighting designs for live music and television. Mark has created and run the lighting for worldwide concert tours including Jamiroquai, X Factor Live Tour, Rod Stewart, Grace Jones, Doves, Sum 41, Jamie Cullum, Lilly Allen, Paul McCartney, and television including ITV, BBC (Songs of Praise) & MTV.
